Disgraced South African Paralympian Oscar Pistorius’ case is set to resume on Friday August 26 and his lawyers will argue that enough is enough.
The case will be heard at the High court in Pretoria before judge Thokozile Masipa, but Pistorius is not expected to attend the hearing.
State prosecutors will be appealing against his six year murder sentence which they say is shockingly too lenient.
But according to court papers filed by Pistorius’ lawyers on August 11, his defence team says it will argue “a continuation of this matter is inimical to the interests of justice, patently unfair and that enough is enough.”
Pistorius was jailed for in July for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in 2013.
There are reports that the 29 year old is having a “melt down” in jail having been treated for wrist injuries earlier this month .
